Since the introduction of our mango wood range to the European market we have seen a significant rise in demand for ethical products. Responsible Approach
Mango wood of course comes from the very same trees that produce the popular mango fruit.
When a mango tree reaches 20 to 25 years of age the fruit from such trees is of little commercial value. These older trees are then subsequently harvested and replaced with young trees. This cycle helps sustain the mango trees and indeed the forests providing indefinite fruit and employment for the native mango growers. It also ensures a continual supply of the very best wood for the native craftsmen that are happy to produce the wooden products.

Where previously the wood from the old trees would have been burned, now the wood is used
as a raw material in the manufacture of our products - So responsible management of this valuable resource is actually good for the environment, good for the economy and helps maintains valuable green space.
